Russia Boycotts U.N.O. 11-Nation Experts Committee
NEW YORK, Jan. 31 (Recd. 6 pm). —Russia today extended her United Nations boycott to the Security Coun ■ cils 11-nation committee of experts. This is the eleventh United Nations body Russia has refused to take part in because of the continued presence of Chinese Nationalist delegates. The Russians failed to appear at the committee’s meeting today. Representatives of the ten other countries went ahead with the consideration of an Indian proposal to clarify the argument over Chinese representation.
India has suggested a poll of all United Nations members as a preliminary to any council decision on this sort of contest.
