AUCKLAND, Last Night PA).— The double winning combination, Balmacara and Stanfred, returned £lBB 14s 6d for 10s on the second day of the Auckland Racing Club’s midsummer meeting at Ellerslie today. The weather was fine and the attendance 19.500. The track was good. The totalisator handled £174,091, including £7719 10s on the doubles machine.
