RANGITIKEI NEED 163 RUNS FOR AN OUTRIGHT VICTORY
TAIHAPE, Last Night (O.C.)—When stumps were drawn at the end of the second day’s play in the Hawke Cup elimination match between Wairarapa and Rangitikei today, Rangitikei required 163 runs for an outright win. In reply to Wairarapa's first innings score of 255, Rangitikei carried on from the overnight score of four for 95 to 222 all out, being 33 runs short of their opponent’s total. Details:— Rangitikei.
