That the Empire Games challenge fours rowing race on the Wanganui River on Saturday, between Aramoho (the winners), Napier and Petone, was the finest exhibition of rowing he had seen, was expressed by the world-fam-ous oarsman and coach, Mr. C. A. Healey, at last night’s meeting of the Wanganui Rowing Association. Mr. E. J. Crotty, president of the New .Zealand Rowing Association and'the Wanganui Rowing Association, congratulated the Aramoho Boating Club on gaining selection as New Zealand representatives in the double sculls and fours at the forthcoming British Empire Games rowing events. On behalf of the association, and rowers generally, he wished the two crews every success.
