Bad Typhoon In Philippines

LONDON, Nov. 3 (Recd. 8.55 pm). —The Associated Press Manila correspondent says the central Philippines worst typhoon in 12 years swept out into the South China Sea today, leaving 26 dead, 40 injured and 20,000 homeless. The damage is estimated to reach 25,000,000 dollars. The Philippine Red Cross reported that 15 ar P dead at Cebu. which apparently felt the storm s greatest fury. Many craft in the harbour were wrecked by gusts of wind which reached 100 miles an hour. Negros and Panav Islands were also hammered heavily.
