Wanganui Has Had Fair Share Of Common Fund, Says The Mayor

Appreciation of the assistance which the city of Wanganui had received from the Government during the past 14 years was expressed by the mayor of Wanganui, the Hon. W. J. Rogers, M.L.C., when extending a welcome to the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) at the Opera House last night. “Wanganui has had as big a share of the common fund as any other part of New Zealand,” said Mr. Rogers.
