BUSH—On November 3, 1949, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. A. Divehall, Kairanga, Ellen, widow of John Bush, and loving mother of Edith, Lil, Maud, Grace, Jack, Douglas, and Clifford, aged 87 years. The friends of the late Ellen Bush are respectfully informed that her will leave the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Palmerston North, tomorrow Saturday, November 5, 1949), at the conclusion of a service which will commence at 2 pun., for the Palmerston North Cemetery.— Wm. HODDER.—At New Plymouth on November 3, 1949, Arthur, dearly loved husband of Emma Hodder, of 67 Paynters Avenue, Fitzroy, and beloved father of John (A. J. W. Hodder, Wanganui), Jean ‘Mrs. A. Short, Reweti), Betty (Mrs. H. Clough, Uruti). and Alan (New Plymouth), in his 74th year. Funeral at New Plymouth on Saturday.
