WANGANUI CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP TO > RESUME TOMORROW
Matches in Wanganui Senior A and Senior B cricket championships, which began last Saturday, will be concluded tomorrow. Batting first last Saturday United compiled 103 against Marist and tn the second innings had one wicket down tor 34. In their first strike Marist, last year’s champions, hit up 115 runs. In their match against Technical Old Boys Wanganui scored 189. At stumps Technical Old Boys had lost two wickets for 39. The position at stumps in the Senior B grade were: Collegiate School 268 for two (declared'. Railways in reply made 65 and three without loss. Wanganui made 67 in the first Innings against Collegiate School B. who made 142. In their second innings Wanganui had three down for 20. Technical College made 18S against P. and T.
