WANGANUI CARNIVAL TAKING SHAPE

Plans are taking shape for the Wanganui carnival next January, and the organiser, Mr W. G. Seabrook, is at work completing definite arrangements. The skeleton programme now lit hand includes the following attractions:— January 21: Trade procession, greyhound racing and an athletic meeting. January 23: Wood chopping in the afternoon and the evening programme still to be arranged. January 26: Radio artists in ‘’quiz’* programme on Cook's Gardens.
