WANGANUI CITIZENS’ MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB COMPETITION
Combined scores over the three final club nights together with a sealed handicap proved a popular competition among members o£ the Wanganui Citizens’ Miniature Rifle Club. Some close scoring was evident when handicaps were added and a junior shot, P. Kelly, returned an average o£ 96 1-3 oft the rifle, which, together with his handicap, totalled the possible of 300 points. Scores with handicaps added were: P. Kelly 300, T. Lawton 299, S. Fowler 299, R. Kelly 299, N. Moosman 299, P. Pearce 298, H. Taylor 298, R. Coleman 298, L. Anderson 297, E. Tremain, 297, W. Conway 297, J. Timbs 296, L. Springer 295, R. Anderson 295, E. Hughes 294, Mrs. Goldsmith 292, Miss J. Phillips 291, D. Fantham 290, Mrs. K. Lewis 289, P. Cronin 289. R.S.A. SCORES. Scores at last week's club night shoot o£ the Wanganui R.S.A. Miniature Rifle Club shoot were:— J. Loveridge 99.8, E. Ilenery 99.7, P. Warnock 99.7, J. Faulkner 98.5, O. Warnock 97.6, F. Lovell 97.4, J. Willis 97.4, J. O’Keefte 96.3, I. Burgess 95.2, A. Climo 94.3, R. Wells 93.2, C. C. Gibbard 93.1, E. Hurst 92.2, R. Hounsell 92.1. Also shooting were: S. J. Jermy, C. H. Gibbard, T. Sykes, G. Payne.
