It was reported that the Ohakea Air Force Club would be stronger than ever this season and athletes who had performed well on tracks in various parts of the Dominion would be competing at Marton. Ohakea would also be sending each week a strong contingent of women competitors. It was decided to hold a dance in the Marton Victory Hall on Saturday, November 12, and arrangements for this social event were accordingly made. Mr. T. P.
