Star Basketball Team Plays At Auckland

A team representing the Star Basketball Club travelled to Auckland during the week-end, where they played two friendly games against Arohi. Star was successful in both games, wruiiing by 18 points to 7 and by 20 points to 10. Though the visitors were affected by the night travelling, they laved some good basketball and were superior in most departments of the game. The Star team was: C. Frazier (captain), M. Brooker. J. Stephens. B. Farrell. P. Stewart. N. Cresswell, G. Brooker. N. Jackson. Mrs. E. O. Schnack, president of the Wanranui Association, was chaperon and the manager was Mr. L. A. Moyle.
