I.—The Board of Trade announced that Britain’s imports from the United States in 1948 represented £184,438,000 sterling com* ■pared with £297,131,000 in 1947 and . £117,980.000 in 1938. i Exports to the United States totalled £66,158,000, compared with £47,973.000 in 1947. I Imports from New Zealand totalled i £108,751,000, compared with £89,993,'OOO. Exports totalled £52,575,000, compared with £43,152,000. ! Imports from Australia totalled ' £169.288,000, compared with £97,122,000 in 1947. Exports totalled £144,972,000, compared with £71,857,000.
