Mr. F. G. O’Leary, of Auckland, who has been appointed manager of the Majestic Theatre, Wanganui, arrived in the city last week and has commenced his new duties.
Sir Patrick Duff, K.C.8., K.C.V.0., formerly High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Bank of New Zealanl, Ltd., according to cabled advice received by the general manager of the bank in New Zealand.—(P.A.).
