Aero Club’s Proctor To Fly Over City On Thursday Night

Weather permitting, the Wanganui Aero Club’s Percival Proctor will be flown over the city next Thursday night as one of the attractions organised as a prelulde to the meeting in the Opera House regarding the proposed new transport service. The Proctor will be flown by the club's instructor, Mr. G. A. Delves, who will use a normal flare-path of “goose-neck” flares for take-off and landing. The Proctor is fitted with two powerful lights in the landing edge of the wing for use when landing. It is understood that the club may carry out night-flying instruction in Tiger Moths later in the year.
