Man Killed When Jeep Strikes A Culvert In Hawera
N. PLYMOUTH, Last Night (P.A.) One of the -three occupants of a jeep, alleged to have been unlawfully taken from in front of the Normanby Town Hall, was killed last night when the vehicle struck a culvert in a street at. Hawera. He was: Leonard James Bayliss, aged about 19, of Opunake. The driver and other occupants received slight injuries They were later arrested
