At the Wanganui Opera House last night the Prime Minister (Mr Fraser), when interject* oll * he* came rather more persistent than usual, made comparisons between that meeting and the one he addressed at Auckland last Tuesday.

“Our friends here are very puny,” he said. “They are nothing like Auckland at all. There 1 called them sheep in wolves’ clothing. Two hundred of them howled at me for two hours; but here I would say that they are just sheep without the wolves' clothing. I heard more intelligent noises coming from the poor lambs we met on the way up from Wellington today.”
