TWO PRISONERS ESCAPE FROM WAIKUNEGANG

TAUMARUNUI, Last Night (PA).— Two prisoners of Wai kune Prison escaped today from a prison gang working at Mount Ruapehu. They were William Arthur Nathan. 21 years, sft. 6ain. dark hair, brown eyes; and Ronald Lewis Gunning, 28 years, sft. 81 in., fair hair, blue eyes. The escapees are believed to be in possession of a missing motor-car, a blue 1947 VB, with two fog lamps in front with silver lining.
