London; pianoforte duos, Miss Thea Collier and Miss Peggy Scott; songs, Madame Ivy Per- 1 rett, Mr. D. Tizard, Mr. William Thomson; euphonium solo, Mr. Jas Eyers; violin solos, Mrs. D. Lawford; Highland fling, Miss Mary Duigan’s pupils, Misses Heather McLachan, Reywyn Hastie, Pamela Brassell and Gael Penn, with the bagpipes played by Piper T. Mulcahy. Also much enjoyed was J. M. Barrie’s one-act play, ’Rosalind,” the characters being portrayed by Mrs. Alan Brown, Miss Jean Evans and Mr Robert Bauld. Mrs. Gordon Payne was the producer. During an interval Miss Rita Webb sang “Please Give Me a Penny, Sir,” while Boy Scouts and Girl Guides carried a cloth down the aisles for coins.
