Returning a card of 91, 20, 70, I. , Langman won the Castlecliff Golf Club's medal competition in conjunc- ; lion with the first qualifying round of the championship on Saturday. Leading gross scores were: J. Wilson 77, G. S. Bristol 78, J. F. Rowe 80,1. R. Brown and J. F. Currie 81, K. Seoulfar 82. A Stableford competition extending over three days will be held next week-end. with the best card for any round being accepted. Trophies for Doth senior and junior divisions will be awarded. Catering arrangements will be as usual for Saturday and Sunday only..
