No Rush In City To Relicence Motor Vehicles Yesterday

Yesterday was the first day on which motorists could register their motor vehicles for the 1949-50 licencing year but as usual the first day was not marked by any big rush ol business at the Chief Post Office. A special staff has been provided to expedite the handling of motor registration applicants but business yesterday was only steady. The sticker to be used this year is midchrome in colour. When motorists reregister their motor vehicles they are issued with a new set of petrol coupons.
