The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London Office by cable dated May 27: “The April sales have closed on a very firm note with widespread and sustained competition. Compared with a week ago most types moved against the buyers, New Zealand greasy crossI breds are selling strongly, but sliped i is a little irregular and scoured slight--1 ly cheaper.” Current quotations for wools of j average condition:—
