Woman Minister Of Religion On Dominion Visit

WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).— One of five woman ministers of all denominations in Scotland, the Rev. Nancie Ward, 8.A.. B.D. arrived by the liner Akaroa on a visit to her mother, whom she has not seen since her family emigrated to New Zealand 20 years ago. Miss Ward said she was minister of Shott’s Congregational Church, situated in a mining area near Edinburgh. The locality had 50,000 inhabitants. Her congregation numbered 1250. She hopes to fill pulpits while in New Zealand. Auckland is Miss Ward's immediate destination.
