TIMARU, Last Night (PA.)—The winter meeting of the South Canterbury Jockey Club was held yesterday in fine but overcast weather. The track was good and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £36,708 10s, against £35,906 last year, an increase of £BO2 10s. Swift Action, winner of the last race, returned a dividend of more than a century and a quarter. Results;—
