Trophies For Wanganui Winter Meeting
Trophies associated with the Wanganui Jockey Clubs winter meeting, to be held on Saturday and Monday, June 4 and 6, will be given for th* Hack and Hunte* >’ Steeplechase on the opening day and for the Wanganui Steeplechase on ch* second day. For the winner of the Wanganui Steeplechase there is a gold cup valued at £lOO, in addition to £550 from the stake of £lOOO. The Hack and Hunters’ Steeplechase is worth £4OO, including a trophy valued at 25gns presented by the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Club. Nominations for al! events are due to close on Monday week. May 16.
