AMATEUR ROAD CYCLING RACE
The Wanganui Amateur Road Cycling Club will hold a 10-mile race tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. The course will be, starting at the Red Lion Inn, then out No. 1 Line to Cameron’s gate and return, finishing at the Putiki boundary. The following handicaps have been declared. R. Wakeley, Tom Philpot, Trev. Philpot, B. Carlyon, scr.; Snow Mitchell, R. Anderson, H. Pidwell, A. Sharrock, W. Main G. Sharrock, 30secs.; W. McKay, B. Masters, D. Mitchell, 2min.; D. Weller, G. Harvey, K. Neilson, D. Cheatly, F. Clinton, 2min. 45secs.; W. Beswarick, W. Pidwell, 3min. 45secs.; W. Work, C. Owens, 4min. 45secs.; F. O’Keefe, P. Patrick, smin. 45secs.
