Acclimatisation Secretary In Office For Quarter Century

More than 25 years’ service as secretary of the Wanganui Acclimatisation Society has been completed by Mr. W. M. Falconer. “I think that I can claim to be unique among acclimatisation society secretaries in that during that time I have never held a game licence or a fishing licence,’’ said Mr. Falconer, when appreciation of his work was expressed at last, night’s annual meeting of the society.
