TURAKINA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB
TURAKI'NA, May 5 (OC>.~The first of a series of four shoots for the club championship and Grant Cup—all four to count—will bo held on Sn'urday, May 7. Rr.ngos will be 300, 500 and 600 yards. The second shoot will be in the same ranges and will ’be held on Saturday, May 28. while the third and fourth of the series will be at 800 and 900 yards, ,-<nd will be fired on June 4 and 11. All shoots to commence at 11 a.m. The shoot-off for 11. Stewart’s trophy will be held this Saturday at 600 yards. On May 14 it is not anticipated that many riflemen will be present. For those that do attend a shoot will he arranged. The annual service shoot, under Army supervision, for the president’s medal, is to be hold on Saturday, May 21, commencing at 9 a.m.
