PARSONS—PARTRIDGE. Sunny April days in Wanganui have amply justified the popular choice ol Easter month by many brides and sd an attract ive marriage ceremony tool I place at All Saints Church, Wanganui! East, when Nada May, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Partridge,i Wanganui, and late of Hunterville, became the bride of Charles Edgar Parsons, younger son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Parsons, of Gisborne. The officiating clergyman was the Rev, F. Keay, of All Saints Church, Wanganui East The bride wore a lovely white and silver tulle gown (the material for which was imported from France), made on fitting lines with long flowng train appliqued with silver lame and finished at edges with tiny pleating of net. The sleeves and sweetheart neckline were similarly pleated. The ..embroidered tulle veil which fell from a coronet of orange blossom formed a second train and the bride carried a dainty bouquet of white roses and blue love-in-the-mist.

Delightfully frocked in full rainbow colours of georgette with flowing skirts, bishop sleeves and butterfly bows along with their Spanish, hairdresses and shoulder veils the three matrons-of-honour wore Mrs. F. Williams (Foxton), chief, sister of the bride, in pink; Mrs. Geo. Short (Wellington), in apple green; and Mrs. W. Duncan (Taihape), in lavender. Together with flower girls Judith and Wanda Williams (Foxton), the bride’s neices, in turquoise blue with pink and blue juliet caps, carrying baskets of flowers to tone with the matrons bouquets, a charming and happy picture was completed. Attending the groom were the bride’s brothers, Mr. O. Partridge (Marton) as best man, and Mr. S. Partridge (Wanganui) who was associated with Mr. J. Dalgleish (Hastings), as groomsman. The bride was given away by her father, Mr. G. A. Partridge, of Wanganui. As the bridal party was leaving the church the bi 4 ide was presented with a white and silver lucky horseshoe by Louvaine Jenkins, of Wanganui. Mrs. G. A. Partridge, mother of the bride, who was attired in black and white lacquered lace with black accessories, was assisted in receiving the many guests by Mrs. D. F. McCallum, of Wellington, who wore an attractive navy costume with wine accessories. When the happy couple left by car on their honeymoon the dress chosen by the bride was cerise crepe designed with sequins, an off-white coat with hat and all accessories of midnight blue.*
