Blomfield Beats Raines
AUCKLAND. Last Night (P.A.)— Making his first appearance in Auckland this season. Lofty Blomfield defeated Dick Raines, of the United States, on a disqualification in the seventh round of a professional heavyweight wrestling contest. Raines secured a fall in the first round with a body press following two backbreakers, while Blomfield evened in the fifth round when be threw Raines with headlocks and elbow jolted him before taking a fall with a body press.
