lINVERCARGILL, Last Night (PA) —Cold and wet weather early in the day affected the attendance when the Southland Racing Club held the first day of its autumn meeting on Saturday. The track was very heavy and
cut up badly for the later races, mudlarks being in their element. The totalisator handled £32.562 10s against £46,103 10s on the first day al last year’s meeting, a decrease of £13,541.
