CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night (PA) —The New Zealand Metropolitan iTrotting Club held the third day of the Easter meeting at Addington on Saturday in fine weather before a large attendance. The track was fast. The back-marker Sandpiper surprised in winning the Cashmere Handicap to return to win dividend approaching a quarter of a century. The totalisator handled £187,976 10s, compared with £167,889 on the corresponding day last year. The total for the three days amounted to £429,680, against £378,186 10s last year.
