SIX ROUNDS ARE COMPLETED IN EASTER BOWLING

The Wanganui Bowling Centre’s Easter full rinks tournament was continued on Saturday when play was favoured by ideal bowling weather. The greens, which were on the heavy side on Friday following heavy rain, soon dried out on Saturday and played well throughout the day. Three rounds were played on Saturday and a further three rounds of section play will be held today. Postsection play will take place tomorrow on the_ Wanganui Bowling Club’s greens, commencing at 8.45 a.m. The linal will be played over 21 ends with no time limit.
