Young Cyclist Dies After Being Struck By Passing Taxi
WELLINGTON. Last Night (PA> A youth died in the Wellington Hospital today from injuries received when struck by a car shortly before midnight on Thursday. He was Keith Manderson, aged 17 years, of King’s Crescent, Lower Hi>tt. Pushing his bicycle on the side of the main highway, he was struck and flung several feet by a taxi travelling in the same direction. The accident happened in a stream of traffic between Paekakariki and Paraparaumu.
