Hitler’s Press Chief Found Guilty Of Aiding Campaign Against Jews
LONDON, April 12.—The United States War Crimes Tribunal at Nuremberg today found Hitler s Press chief, Otto Dietrich, guilty of aiding and abetting the Nazi campaign against the Jews. “It is clear that a well thought out campaign, oft repeated to arouse the hatred of German people against the Jews, was fostered and directed by the Press Department and its Press chief,” the judgment stated. “That part or much of this may have been inspired by Goebbels is undoubtedly true, but Dietrich approved and authorised every release.”
