PURSUANT to Price Order 761, which came into force Ist October, 1947, the price of milk to consumers and commercial users will be as under, from and including Friday the Ist April, 1949: 2 pints, 7d. 1 pint, 31d. I pint, 2d. 1 gallon but less than 2 gallons, 2/3 per gal. 2 gallons but less than 10 gallons, 2/2 per gal. 10 gallons and over, 2/1 per gal. THE Wool Packing Regulations now provide that bales of wool shall not be packed in weights exceeding the following:— Wool in the fleece, 400 lbs. Crutchings and Oddments, 450 lbs. These limits include the weight of the packs. Substantial penalties are provided for cases of infringement, and over weight bales are liable to be rejected by those engaged in handling and transporting the wool. In their own interests therefore, Growers are requested to keep weights strictly within the limits. WANGANUI WOOLBROKERS' ASSOCIATION. LAND BALLOT.
