D.I.C. Marching Team At Taumarunui

TAUMARUNUI, Last Night (Spec). D.1.C.. Wanganui, marching team competed with some success in the Taumarunui Girls’ Marching Association’s championships held i n conjunction with the annual carnival of the Manunui Axemen’s and Athletic Association at the Manunui Domain. D.I.C. was placed second Io R.S.A.. Taumarunui. in the street march, second for general appearance, and third for display, gaining third highest aggregate points. Miss N. Rennie, D.1.C., was placed third in the competition for team leaders. A Miss King Country quest held in conjunction with the marching events was won by Miss J. Fletcher, a member of the D.I.C. team.
