Only Light Warding At Fordell Sale
Following the main ewe fairs, there was only a light yarding at the Fordell sale, reports the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd. The enquiry and competition for ewe lambs was very keen, and a medium line of 210 offered on account of Mr. R. J. Tod, Mangamahu, realised 33s sd. The following range of prices is recorded: Five and 6-year ewes, to 295; ewe lambs, 32s 6d to 33s Sdfll small ewe lambs, to 23s Id; small wether lambs, to 22s 4d; woolly b.f. lambs, to 275; shorn b.f. lambs (small), to 15s Id; S.D. rams, 4gns. to Bgns.
