Oarsmen Assembling At Lake Karapiro For Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Last Night \PA>._ Already on the foreshores of Karapiro Lake, Cambridge, just south of the dam, there is a small canvas town accommodating some 300 /oarsmen and officials from many parts of the Dominion for the New Zealand amateur rowing championships on Saturday next. Visiting crews are busy training.

They invariably state that the waters of the lake provide the best course in New Zealand Among the many entrants for the New Zealand champion eights are the Aramoho Club, Wanganui. They are practising solidly.
