Wanganui Man Was Second In N.Z. Archery Champs.
AUCKLAND, Last Night (PA).— With a score of 2525, W. J. Burton (Gisborne) won the New Zealand men’s archery championship when he won the American round at Carlaw Park this afternoon. Miss D. Johnston (Dunedin) won the national women's title for the second successive year with an aggregate score of 1562. Her sister. Miss A. Johnston, was successful in the handicap event, which was run in conjunction with the championship. The men’s handicap was won by G. Bish'(Auckland). In the men’s championship, M. Armour (Wanganui) was second with an aggregate of 2362.
