MARTIN—On February 20, 1949, at Wanganui Hospital, Helen Caroline, dearly beloved daughter o‘ James and Jessie Martin, of Fordell; in her 43ru year. Friends are respectfully informed that the funeral will leave her parents’ residence, Fordell, today (Tuesday, February 22), for the Matarawa Presbyterian Cemetery, at the conclusion of a service which will commence at 2 p.m.—Fleming and Dick, Wanganui.

NEUMANN—On February 20, 1949, at her residence, 45 Queen Street, Palmerston North (suddenly), Mary Jane, widow of L. T. O. Neumann, late of “Greenfields,” Marton, and loved mother of Caroline, Louis and Eric; in her 75th year. A service will be held at the Presbyterian Church, Marton, today (Tuesday, February 22, 1949). at 11 a.m., thence private interment at Mt. View Cemetery.—Thos. Griggs and Son, Palmerston North.

SIMPSON—On February 20, 1949. at Glen-Aladale (suddenly), MaryCameron Grant, beloved wife of the late Thomas Simpson, of Marton, and formerly of Paraparaumu Beach. Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave Glen-Aladale for the Crematorium, Aramoho. today (Tuesday, February 22, 1949), at the conclusion of a service commencing at 4 p.m. —Dempsey and Sons, Funeral Directors, 144 Victoria Avenue.
