Annual Swimming Sports Of The Aramoho School
The Aramoho School held its annual swimming sports on Monday afternoon. Mr. Taylor, the headmaster, welcomed parents and friends, and with the assistance of members of the staffs the programme of events was completed satisfactorily. Mr. Olliver, physical instructor of schools, judged the diving. Mr. Trevor Price was starter. Championship events were won by Beverley Percy (senior girls), Jacqueline Check (junior girls), Ted Harrison (senio r boys), and Brian Wallace (junior boys). Other results were:— BEGINNERS Girls, width of baths: First heat, J. Gedye 1, H. Dimes 2, L. Benson 3; second heat, A. Jackson X, P. Mathieson 2, E. Lissen 3; third heat, J. Doble 1, R. Swallow 2, S.
