Poor Recruiting In Britain For The Territorial Army
I LONDON, Feb. 17 (Rec. 6 pm).— Unless there is substantial improveij ment in the next few weeks in rei cruiting for the Territorial Army, the national campaign will close in March ' with about 75,000 having volunteered ,| —roughly half the number required, I the War Minister (Mr Shinwell) said. 1 The strength of the Territorial I Army at the end of January was 69,507—60,882 men and 8625 women.
