The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd., report on the Mangaweka sale as follows: “We yarded 3300 lambs which came forward in tip top condition, reflecting the result of the good season. Competition was keen from the first pen, a line of 391 shorn w.f. lambs in good condition bringing 265. The top price for shorn w.f. lambs was 30s 6d for an excellent well grown, good conditioned line of 83 on account S. Lowry, Ohingaiti. Woolly bf. lambs on account M. Murphv realised 31s The sale on the whole must bo considered satisfactory, although not reaching the high prices brought at Feilding last Friday.” Prices:—

Woolly b.f. lambs, 26s lOd to 31s; shorn b.f. lambs, 27s to 27s 4d; shorn w.f. lambs (good), 25s 6d to 30s 6d; smaller shorn w.f. w. lambs 19s 6d to 22s lOd; small ewe lambs, 23s 6d; ms Dorset horn x-lambs, 25s 3d.
