Preview Of Budget
WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (Rec. 6 p.m.)—Congressmen who had a preview of President Truman's Budget at a conference with him today, said Congress might be asked for 41,900,000,000 dollars to finance the Government in the financial year, beginning op January 7, compared with 39,500,000,000 requested for this financial year Congressmen said more than 15,000,000,000 dollars would be for defence, including the stockpiling of material and a universal military training programme.
