Maritime Workers Form Body To Fight Communism
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 6 (Recd 11.50pm).—A rebel rightist organisation to combat Communism among San Francisco maritime workers has been formed.
Th e organisers said it would eventually be expanded to cover all the west coast ports. It would be incorporated soon as the “Maritime Democratic Committee.” Its backers said the objective wou’.d be opposition to all subversive elements that might in any way undermine th e American way of life.
