Acting Director Of Education Pays Visit To Wanganui
The acting-Director of Education, Mr. A. F. McMurtrie. a former senior inspector of schools for the Wanganui district, was present at yesterday’s meeting of the Wanganui Education Board. He was accompanied by Mr. S. T. Barnett, assistant Director of Education (administrative). Mr. McMurtrie and Mr. Barnett were extended a welcome by the chairman of the board Mr W. B. Tennant. They were present at the meeting and later carried out an inspection in company with board members.
