LONDON. Nov 30 (Rec. 7 pm). A Manchester report states that Mr. John Barbirolli, who has been conductor of the Halle Orchestra for the past five years, has been invited to become Director of the 8.8. C. Symphony Orchestra on the retirement of Sir Adrian Boult, who will be 60 next April.
