West Restive About Delays Over Berlin
LONDON, Oct. 14, (Recd. 6.50 pm). —There is little surprise at the unsatisfactory nature of the Russian reply to questions on the Berlin dispute which Senor Bramuglia put to Mr. Vyshinsky on October 8. says the “Daily Telegraph’s” special correspondent in Paris. Britain, the United States and France have repeatedly stated that nothing short of an unconditional lifting of the Berlin blockade would meet, their requirements. They were growing restive at the delay in the Security Council proceedings pending the outcome of Senor Bramuglia’s efforts at mediation. The three Powers are not prepared to resume the discussions that followed the agreement of the four- Powers reached in Moscow on August 30, as Russia has now suggested, because these talks convinced them Russia did not intend to implement that agreement.
