Time Limit Wanted For Surrender Of Italian Naval Units
LONDON, Oct. 12 (Rec 8.2(1 pm). —Yugoslavia has asked the Big Four Naval Commission to fix a time limit under which the Italian Government, must, hand over units of the Italian Navy ceded under the Peace Treaty, because “the demand for ships to be handed over by September 1, 1948, remained unanswered." Russia, on October 7, made the second demand on Italy to surrender fleet units ceded under the Peace Treaty.
